If you are looking for a new event or wedding venue near St. Augustine or Jacksonville and you haven't checked out The Clay Theater in Green Cove Springs, it is a must visit! This brand new venue remodeled the historic Clay Theatre that opened in 1937.
The new owners, Andrea & Daniel Vallencourt, purchased the historic space in 2017 and immediately began renovations. They turned this 5,000 sq ft space into a state of the art beautiful venue with the ability to comfortably hold 180 seated guests in the main banquet space with a maximum capacity of 200 for indoor receptions. Cocktail mixers for other events can hold up to 300 utilizing both the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Upon arriving at the front lobby you are greeted with a fresh and clean modern look that feels upscale with marble accents and beautiful leading lines.
The courtyard is a gorgeous open air space with beautiful palms and is the perfect backdrop for a ceremony.
What if it rains? Options are to rent a tent from one of their preferred tent vendors or to move into the main banquet hall as an alternate.
The main banquet space has some really cool modern touches. You know this place turns into an epic dance floor! The LED wall lights can be changed to any color to match your specific colors.
The bridal suite on the 2nd floor has everything the girls will need! With 5 make-up stations, lounge seating, a three way mirror, private bath, a wet bar and more.

Not only are they hosting weddings, you can also rent the 5000 sq ft space for all sorts of events including corporate events, holiday parties, bridal showers, reunions and more.
Needless to say this space is equipped to handle all of your events needs. Make sure you check them out if you are in the market for the perfect space. I can't say enough positive things about this venue, they really hit it out of the park.
