The Photo House: Florida Seascape Photography Workshop Overview
Join an immersive 3-day, 3-night coastal photography workshop along Northeast Florida’s wildest and most dramatic shorelines with luxury private beach front house, heated pool and meals included.
Escape the flat, monotonous beach scenes and experience Florida’s raw, sculptural coastlines during the cooler Fall season. From the haunting fallen oak giants of Big Talbot Island to the churning waves against ancient coquina shelves at Marineland, this all-inclusive retreat is tailored for photographers looking to elevate their portfolio with guided instruction and creative community.
Difficulty: Low to medium. 1-2 mile mile hikes at most, sometimes over softer sand. Temps should be great.

The Photo House Photography Workshop: What's Included?
• 5 Guided Field Sessions: Chase golden hour and low tide conditions across Big Talbot Island State Park's Boneyard & Blackrock Beach, Anastasia State Park Dunes, and the rugged shelves of Marineland Beach.
• Hands-On Composition & Seascape Technique: Learn the exact photography techniques for dialing in silky wave trails, timing surf motion, working with ND filters, and building dynamic foregrounds.
• Image Critiques & Post-Processing: Between shoots, gather for constructive group critique sessions and post-processing breakdowns using Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Private Room in an Oceanfront Basecamp: Recharge in a spacious beach home where every attendee gets a private bedroom (room selection is first come, first served, see below for more info).
• Amenities include private beach walkover, private heated pool & hot tub and access to the Cinnamon Club beach Resort with fitness center and more.
• All Meals Are Included: Focus entirely on your craft while meals, coffee, and refreshments are taken care of. If you have any special dietary restrictions let us know.
• Small Group Setting: Capped strictly at 7 photographers to guarantee private rooms and personalized, one-on-one attention at every location.
Marineland
The Photo House Photography Workshop: What's Not Included?
• Flights or travel to and from the beach house. Once you arrive we will have a van to get us all to and from our locations, but getting to the house is your responsibility. If you need any help just ask Dave!
• Travel Insurance is not included. It's not very expensive so it is suggested & something you should consider!
• No alcohol is included, only meals for each day and a final group dinner out at one of our amazing local restaurants.

Lodging & Accommodations
Wake to the sound of rolling waves and sip coffee before venturing out to amazing landscape photography sessions. When we have any downtime head down to the private beach walkover or to the heated pool and spa. Ocean views, spacious gathering areas, and unforgettable moments by the sea create the kind of getaway you will remember for years.
• There are a total of 7 bathrooms; 5 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms, throughout the home, giving everyone plenty of space to get ready for the day.
• Private Room in an Oceanfront Basecamp: Recharge in a spacious beach home where every attendee gets a private bedroom (room selection is first come, first served, see below for more info).
• Private heated pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean.
• Access to Cinnamon Beach resort amenities including pools, splash pad, clubhouse, and fitness center.
• All Meals Included: Focus entirely on your craft while meals, coffee, and refreshments are taken care of.
• Small Group Setting: Capped strictly at 7 photographers max + guide to guarantee personalized, one-on-one attention at every location.
Room choice is a strictly first come first choose basis, so book asap!
Here are the options. (I will note any rooms that are taken/booked as they fill)
• Bedroom 1 – Bunk bedroom located on the first floor.
• Bedroom 2 – Bunk bedroom located on the first floor. (Bedrooms 1 and 2 share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom)
• Bedroom 3 – Queen bedroom on the second floor with private bathroom and balcony access.
• Bedroom 4 – King bedroom on the second floor with private bathroom and balcony access.
• Bedroom 5 – Oceanfront master suite on the third floor with king bed, sleeper sofa, seating area, private balcony, and ensuite bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower.
• Bedroom 6 – King bedroom on the third floor with private bathroom and balcony access.
• Bedroom 7 – Bedroom on the third floor with two queen beds and private bathroom.

As this workshop is so soon we need to collect full payment upon reservation. We will secure the beach house booking as soon as we hit 3 participants. If we do not get at least 3 participants all funds will be refunded (minus any third party processing fees, none from us). Please see the terms here.
Dave is your man and can help with anything you might need.
Rooms are on a first book first choose basis. I am guessing the first person to book will take the master ocean suite! But the only rooms that are not EPIC are the 2 bottom floor bunk bed rooms which receive a $200 discount.
