Here is the first video I did this summer "7 Days Chasing Florida Storms in a Yaris."
This video, along with watching storm chasers myself, inspired me to start live streaming landscape photography sessions. I have never seen anyone live streaming this topic so I figured it would be great to try out.
I thought storm photography was a perfect overlap, so I have begun chasing storms around Florida and live streaming the photography session. It has been great fun interacting with everyone and see the conditions unfold live with everyone.
Here a few photos from this initial video.

I started out at the rural farms before making my way to the beaches and captured this great storm in from of my favorite old rusty barn.

No lightning on this storm, but epic god rays over the dunes in Anastasia!

The storms and lightning just missed us, but the sunset turned golden and I got this great shot on the St. John's river.

We finally got positioned well enough out in front of this storm to catch some great bolts. I did have to zoom in though, because the storm tracked out to the ocean a bit more north than expected.

While I was taking shots and talking to everyone on the live stream I glanced over to my left and WOW. I didn't even realize it was a full moon this evening, but it peeked out between a few storms clouds for about 2 minutes just over the horizon. Apparently this was called the Buck moon. I was able to capture this shot before it vanished into the darkness.

In this live stream we had an epic Florida shelf cloud roll over Anastasia Island in St Augustine Beach. Check out the full time lapse on my instagram - Click Here

The storm moved off the beach during blue hour and I got this nice shot right before dark.

I will continue to update this post as I live stream and take more 2026 Florida storm photos and time lapses!
